Mine tends to wait until August to start.
But I have already been removing hair that I need to sweep up!!

My four little darlings have shed nearly all of their winter coat now, and I don’t blame them for trying to hold onto it this year as summer appears to be passing us by this year. They normally start growing their winter coat in August.

No nothing here yet, this post made me recoil a little, I don't want to even think about the fact we're on the downhill slope to winter now :(

Some of us were only talking about this on the yard today, we're trying to convince ourselves they're trying to get a finer summer coat because of how hot it feels!

Mine does grow a thick summer one. I clipped her last year.

I was listening to others saying it's been hot so they shed. But apparently it's supposedly due to the light.
Our field gets full light from sun up to sun down. But it's a minute later coming up each day. She's noticed already longest day has gone.

Nothing from Hogan yet - much as I loved Ramsey , a full winter coat by July needing a full clip was a real bind. This is a welcome relief!
